The Two-Step Protein Treatment process was developed to repair severely damaged hair, including hair that breaks, has been over-processed, over-bleached, is severely damaged, and can even be used as a pre-treatment for hair coloring. No method is better for repairing damaged hair than a two-step approach.

This corrective process is highly recommended for hair that:

• Is too weak or fine, and you need to do a perm or a straightening treatment (use the week BEFORE the treatment).
• Is bleached.
• Breaks when combed.

When the product is fully dry, rinse with lukewarm water and apply the second step, which is a highly moisturizing mask. Leave it on for 2-3 minutes, then rinse and proceed with drying your hair.

The mask helps to hydrate and soften the hair, as the proteins strengthen and rebuild but do not hydrate the hair.

The collagen and proteins present in the treatment repair the damaged hair fiber, eliminating and reducing the damaged and split parts. Additionally, hair thickness and body increase, and hair loss is reduced.

HOW TO USE

Shake well before use!

Gently cleanse the hair with ApHogee Shampoo for Damaged Hair. Rinse thoroughly and towel dry. Apply a sufficient amount of ApHogee treatment to completely saturate the hair and distribute evenly with a wide-tooth comb. Leave the hair uncovered, DO NOT use a plastic cap. Seat the client under a medium-temperature hood dryer with high airflow. (Alternatively, you can use a handheld dryer, but the hair MUST NOT be agitated during drying.) NOTE: when the ApHogee treatment dries into the hair, it becomes extremely hard. DO NOT comb or brush the hair while the ApHogee treatment is dry and in the hair. Re-wet and rinse gently with plenty of warm water. Remove all excess dry protein. Towel dry. Apply ApHogee Balancing Moisturizer to the hair and scalp. Leave on for 2 minutes, then rinse thoroughly. Proceed with the next service or style as usual.
